Robbers invade Labo Autos Car lot , steal car items worth N200, million

Labo Autos carlot has been vandalized by armed robbers .

Confirm News gathered that penultimate Thursday, armed robbers with mask invaded Labo Carlot at Gowon Estate, Egbeda, Lagos.

According to sources , the unknown gun men with mask from CCTV were seven in numbers.

The guard Ibrahim was strangulated and guns pointed at him that he must open the back gate leading to Gowon Estate under duress.

Lots of cars were burgled with chassis taking away and valuable items.

Windscreen were broken, side mirrors were also taken away.

Information added that robbers operated for three hours at the carlot while , the guard was tied, chained to the inner gate and covered with dustbin bag so that he wouldn’t raise alarm until the Illicit operations were done.

Confirm News later gathered that damaged items at the carlot worth Two Hundred Million Naira at the time of this report.

C E O, Labo Autos, Dr. Olabisi Akanbi was really devastated about the robbery case.

“It is a very sad incident. We are very upset that our office is just two minutes to the Police Station. We didn’t see any Police men on parade or rescue respond. This is very sad. The guard is still at the hospital due to injuries he sustained. We urge Nigerians to come to our rescue.The rate of insecurity and crime are very alarming in Nigeria currently.
