The President of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), Mr Samson Oki, has condoled with the Commissioner of People Police, Lagos State Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu over the death of his beloved mother, Alhaja Sikirat Adunni Odumosu, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 88.
Speaking through a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Association, Mr. Eric Elezuo, the president noted that the fact that the octogenarian had a son in the calibre of CP Odumosu is a clear testimony that she lived a fulfilled life and is worth commending. He noted that the type of clout the accomplished police officer has amassed over the years in the course of performing his legitimate duties, is a clear indication that he was brought up by a superwoman, who has discipline as a bedrock of parenting.
“Having a son like you means that your mother lived a fulfilled life, and should be celebrated. This is because you have shown yourself as an officer who has a disciplined background, and this is all thanks to your mother,” the statement read.
The president, on behalf of the integrity based Association of time tested journalists, prayed to God to grant Odumosu and members of the Odumosu family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“Therefore, on behalf of NAOSNP, I pray that the good will grant you and the entire family members the heart and fortitude to bear the loss, and move ahead, knowing that mama lived a fulfilled life,” he said.
