Aide dismisses rift between Sanwo-Olu and Abiodun

The attention of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has been drawn to reports on some online platforms and blogs insinuating that there is a rift between him and his Ogun State counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

This is not true. Any rift exists in the imagination of the purveyors of fake news and agents of disunity. The relationship that exists between the two governors is warm, cordial and brotherly.

Prince Dapo Abiodun and Mr Sanwo-Olu meet regularly and speak with each other frequently on  the development of their states and in the interest of their people.

Ogun and Lagos states share common boundaries and are also bound together by socio-cultural norms.

We, therefore, would like to advise those who seek to plant a seed of discord between the two leaders with fake news to desist forthwith as both Prince Abiodun and Governor Sanwo-Olu are bound by a common goal – better life for
