Governor Sanwoolu who was represented by the Special Adviser on religious affairs at Primate Ayodele’s annual thanksgiving and hosting of the United Nations Flag in Lagos explained that the man of God has restored hope to the hopeless with the many empowerments.
He made it known that with his massive empowerment programs, He has been able to curb the security issues in the community because the youths are being empowered, and as long as that happens, they won’t have the time to cause havoc in the community.
‘I commend you for restoring hope to the hopeless through the various ways you are empowering the less privileged in our society, people without hope are prone to perpetrate criminal or antisocial activities which threaten the peace and security of the community.
Today’s program especially the empowerment will go a long way in restoring hope and promoting peace like the proverb says an idle hand is the devil workshop
Empowering the people is giving them hope to look forward to a better future, I wish to note that this program aligns with this administration to empower the youth, vulnerable, in our society so that they will be financially independent’’
During the annual thanksgiving, some of Primate Ayodele’s church members went home with tricycles, money for their accommodation, GCE form, JAMB Forms, WAEC forms. The height of it all was when Primate Ayodele gave out two cars two journalists.
