There are people who do not find a career rest until they eventually find where they really belong. Honorable Abayomi Akinruntan is one of such people, as the dark-complexioned man had several appointments before finding the right that has defined his person.
At some point, the scion of the Olugbo Kingdom, Oba Fredrick Akinruntan was involved in the running of his father’s Obat and Petroleum Limited, one of Nigeria’s major indigenous oil companies.
At another point, the younger Akinruntan was the director, Operations for Febson Hotel Nigeria Ltd, an ultra-modern facility in Abuja, while also finding time to manage his De Ark Entertainment and Records. Though he couldn’t achieve his desire that year, he eventually won the Ondo State House of Assembly election in 2015, becoming an honorable member of the house.
Since then, the politician has not looked back, as he has continued to rise, while growing in experience, even rising to the post of the assembly’s parliamentary secretary.
Five years after being elected into office, Akinruntan who represents Ilaje 1 constituency in the Ondo State of Assembly has not only done well for his people but has extended his hands of fellowship to several less privileged individuals.
