Hon. Rotimi Makinde, Former Member of House of Representatives and Chairman Oodua FM Ile-Ife has congratulated Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ojaja II and Yeyeluwa Silekunola Naomi Ogunwusi as Almighty God blessed the House of Oduduwa with crown Prince in the early hours of Wednesday 18, 2020 as announced in a press statement by Director, Media & Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace, Comrade Adeyera Moses Olafare.
According to the Bobaselu of Ile Ife and holders of several title in Yorubaland which includes Fiwagboye of Ila Orangun, Bobajiro of Ede and Mayegun of Ifewara, Hon. Rotimi Makinde and wife, Chief (Mrs) Oyebanke Makinde prayed “I and my wife humbly wish the royal Majesty the best that life has to offer. As Prince Oduduwa step into Giesi Royal Family, God will usher him into bountiful greatness. Almighty God will single him out for unexplainable blessings.
He further expressed his gratitude saying “Congratulations to Giesi Royal family, the kingdom of Ile-Ife (The Source), Yoruba race and the entire descendants of Oduduwa worldwide on the save arrival of this Heir to the sacred throne of the Ooni of Ife”.
“The prince has finally arrived our beautiful kingdom. Behold he is baby boy… How wonderful we all feel to hold our little bundle of joy! A prince and every illustrious sons and daughters of the Source are always very special in so many different ways, their snuggles and their cuddles just brighten up each day for we are the direct descendant of Oduduwa.
Now that the coast and the prayers is answered. We can’t but rejoice with our creator. Kabiesi, the sky is the limit. Your 5 years on the throne has witness so many transformation in Yorubaland.
